Fundació InnoFAB is developing Catalonia’s first advanced semiconductor prototyping and development center, designed to bridge the gap between research and industry. Located near Barcelona, InnoFAB will provide state-of-the-art cleanroom facilities and capabilities for micro- and nanotechnology development, enabling semiconductor prototyping and pilot production. The foundation fosters collaboration between research institutions, startups, SMEs, and industry, accelerating innovation in strategic sectors including electronics, healthcare, and energy. InnoFAB aims to strengthen Europe’s semiconductor ecosystem and support the transition from lab to fab.
